This business is named in memory of my mother, Sarah Vaughan who died of breast cancer at age 60, in 1997. She and my Father started an office supply business in Richmond Virginia in 1980. My family owned and operated that business for over 30 years. We sold the business so my husband and I could follow our dream to buy a campground in North Carolina on Lake Gaston. While living here in NC and on a lake, I discovered this great hobby, Photography. I also developed a love of antiques. I dont think it just happened, My Father alway had a camera in his hand and is always collecting something. My Mom loved watching her birds and had her own collections. I just found last year while at my Dads, her collection of Chinese Mudmen. Guess what, I had been collecting the same thing! So I've taken the love and knowledge of the Office Supply business, my passion for photography and my love of antiques and created this ..... SARAHVAUGHANS !
