About rn Supporting cancer patients undergoing treatment in the five counties surrounding Lake Gaston NC/VA. rn Ladies of the Lake Cancer Support Group is an independent 501c3 nonprofit group of dedicated women that has grown from 10 to 20 members since its creation in 2003. Our purpose is to offer direct financial support to cancer patients currently undergoing treatment in the five counties surrounding Lake Gaston by organizing and holding a series of popular fundraisers within the lake community.
